Frank Carter Hosts Exhibition In Memory Of Sir David Amess And Dame Vera Lynn

We’re delighted to announce that Billericay-based photographer Frank Carter is to present an exhibition of twilight and seasonal photography raising funds, in memory of the late Sir David Amess MP, for the Dame Vera Lynn Memorial Fund.

It will be taking place in the Maritime Room of the Cliffs Pavilion Theatre from 12:00 until 9:00pm on Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th April.

The exhibition is based around several interesting themes, taking inspiration from some iconic British landmarks. The themes include…

  • River Thames at twilight
  • Southend On Sea
  • UK the four seasons – winter, spring, summer, autumn
  • Reflections in water
  • Giant sepia prints of Covent Garden
  • Red Arrows flying over Windsor Castle

The Orpheus Singers will also be performing at the exhibition on the evening of Monday 17th at 7:30pm. Anyone who attended A Nightingale Sang or any of their other previous concerts will know that they are certainly worth seeing.

Entry to the exhibition will be completely free and organisers will be collecting donations to the Dame Vera Lynn Memorial at the event. You can also donate any time via our JustGiving page. All contributions are greatly appreciated.
