The Orpheus Singers and Thanet Male Voice Choir host concert for the Dame Vera Lynn Memorial

The Orpheus Singers

After making the decision to postpone their previous concert as a mark of respect following the tragic passing of Queen Elizabeth II, we are now just over a week away from The Orpheus Singers’ next scheduled concert. It will take place on Sunday 2nd October at St Andrew’s Church on Reading Street in Broadstairs, getting underway at 2:30pm.

The Orpheus Singers will be joined by the Thanet Male Voice Choir who regularly host performances to raise funds for several fantastic local charities and organisations. In agreement with the Orpheus Singers, they have decided to donate all proceeds to the Dame Vera Lynn Memorial campaign, as a tribute to the late Sir David Amess. David played a vital role in launching the memorial fund and was a keen supporter of The Orpheus Singers. We couldn’t be more thankful for their efforts in helping us reach our target.

If you’d like to enjoy a brilliant afternoon with some excellent entertainment, all while donating to a great cause, you can purchase your tickets for just £10. Learn more about the event and secure your spot by contacting the secretary of the Thanet Choir, Andy Brown, on 01843 844625 or 07866 395150.
