The Orpheus Singers Host Concert For Dame Vera Lynn And Sir David Amess

After it was postponed following the sad passing of Her Majesty The Queen, we are delighted to announce that The Orpheus Singers, a women’s choir based in South East Essex, has rescheduled their concert in memory of Dame Vera Lynn and Sir David Amess. A Nightingale Sang will take place at Kings Road United Reform Church, Westcliff on Saturday 4th February, getting underway at 7:30pm.

The Orpheus Singers will be joined by special guests, The Southern Band, as well as talented local soloist, Elizabeth Dunlop. Fitting music, including some of Dame Vera’s most famous songs, will be performed throughout the night.

Sir David Amess was a keen supporter and close friend of The Orpheus Singers. Having played such a vital role in founding the Dame Vera Lynn Memorial campaign, the choir has decided to pay tribute to Sir David by generously deciding to donate the proceeds to the memorial fund.

If you’d like to support this brilliant causes, and enjoy a wonderful night with some outstanding entertainment, tickets can be purchased here.
