Your chance to own a limited edition bronze maquette

We’re well on the way to raising the funds we need to realise our dream of unveiling our memorial to wartime entertainers. The memorial has been designed and created by renowned sculptor, Paul Day, whose work includes the Battle of Britain Memorial on the Embankment, and the “Meeting Place” which stands 9 metres tall sculpture under the clock in St Pancras Station. The memorial statue is a three-metre diameter, bronze “Tondo” (disc) in high relief and depicts scenes of entertainment of military forces features Dame Vera Lynn, known across the UK, Commonwealth and internationally as: “The Forces Sweetheart”.

To help us get to our goal we have eight limited-edition maquettes cast in bronze for sale. The maquettes are 78cm x 82cm x 42cm and are on sale for £30,000 each. Each maquette is a scale model of the memorial, crafted in exquisite detail to show what the final sculpture will look like in all its glory.
